I’d like to thank Tyler - the founder of FeatherCode - for giving me the chance to speak with him about the proposition, and I hope that it turns out to be a fun business partnership which I am confident it will be.

Hello everyone, like I promised on Twitter. A new feature or ‘micro-feature’ has been added to Flockey.com. Something that will hopefully attract even more wonderful clients and bring back a few clients from previously. Introducing Flock’A'Buck.

Flock’A'Buck is going to be a place were previous clients can go to. All they have to do is simply enter in the URL of a previous design that we designed for them and they will get $100.00 off their next design with us :)! This service would only be used when the client would be looking to get a design done after submitting their URL.

The Flock’A'Buck feature is valid for every major service that we offer here such as; web design, forum design & wordpress blog design.

HostedFX have announced that they will be giving all of Augusts’ profits to charity. This means thousands of dollars of profit will be going to a good deed and helping the people in need. Gareth the company owner is a good friend of mine and has asked me to contribute by spreading the word through Flockey, which I couldn’t refuse.

Hello everyone, this is the really the first official post since being back from Magaluf. The holiday was absolutely amazing. The lads I went with were a good laugh and we all had a ball. To be honest with you all, I wish I was still there the weather here in Glasgow is absolutely depressing!

So, back to reality. I’ve been pretty slow getting back into things. I’ve had a few clients since being back and things are really progressing slowly. I thought it’d have been easier just getting into the rhythm of things again, but I underestimated it. Being two weeks away from the reality world and away from a computer and then coming back, the first time at the the computer is pretty daunting!

Anyway, lets talk about the $100.00 per design heading will we? To help me get back into the jist of things I am doing a design for four clients and four clients only at $100.00 per design. A client can also claim two designs if they want. If you are interested in getting a design done right away for $100.00 then contact me as soon as possible.

Thats right folks, thats me done all my first year work. Done. Dusted. First year out the window, bring on second year! If your wondering what I am talking about, its university. I made a post about it a few weeks ago letting everyone know that it was my last day the next day, but on Tuesday there I had a final presentation to do and it went well. The relief after coming out that room was awesome.

So, what the hell am I going to do until September? Currently, I am in two minds. Firstly, I have a potential job opportunity down in Birmingham, were I could work for a design company and gain experience as a junior web designer,
or, I could find something part time over the summer to gain a little extra cash and do something more productive with my time rather than sitting about on my fat arse?!

On a completely different note, I was speaking with a good friend of mine Gareth Hodson and he came up with an awesome idea for Flockey. I have found over the past couple of weeks that my beloved readers like the posts which involve the viewing of my latest work. So what Gareth said was maybe to add a little extra to my pricing and design offerings. The idea is this. Once I design and complete whatever it is the client needs, I will give them the chance to be exposed on Flockey for $10.00 extra once their site is online, a bit like a review.

With the way my traffic and stuff is going at the moment, this could be beneficial for the client for such a low fee.
